Lancé le lundi 15 janvier 2018, le projet européen REAMOOC (Réseau africain de développement de MOOC pour l’innovation pédagogique dans l’enseignement supérieur) améliorera l’apprentissage des étudiants dans l’enseignement supérieur en Afrique subsaharienne en favorisant l’adoption de pratiques pédagogiques numériques innovantes au sein des institutions partenaires du projet. L’Ugb de Saint Louis, l’Ucad et l’Uvs et deux universités du Cameoun sont les seules universités africaines concernées.
Le projet est cofinancé par le programme Erasmus de l’Union Européenne. Il est coordonné par l’Université libre de Bruxelles et l’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie et réunit 10 autres partenaires. Le projet REAMOOC est cofinancé par le programme Erasmus+ de l’Union européenne à hauteur de 870.000 d’euros soit plus de 565 millions de francs Cfa.
REAMOOC a été officiellement lancé le lundi 15 janvier 2018 à Bruxelles à l’occasion du colloque « L’innovation pédagogique dans l’enseignement supérieur en Afrique subsaharienne : de la stratégie au terrain » organisé par l’Université libre de Bruxelles et l’Agence universitaire de la Francophonie.
Le projet consiste à accompagner le développement de MOOCs et leur intégration dans les curricula par les enseignants des institutions universitaires partenaires du projet au Cameroun et au Sénégal, puis à étendre cette pratique à d’autres institutions. Pour atteindre cet objectif, le projet mise avant tout sur la constitution d’un réseau de partenaires africains qui assurera la pérennité du projet par le transfert de compétences au sein d’autres établissements. Des pôles d’innovation et de diffusion pédagogique seront également créés dans les institutions partenaires.
