Pour les pays comme le Sénégal, le Cap-Vert, le Nigéria, le Ghana, le Bénin, le Nigeria, ils consolideront, sans doute, leurs acquis et relèveront d’autres défis.
Quant à la Guinée, la Sierra Leone, la Côte d’Ivoire, la Gambie, au Libéria, au Niger et au Burkina qui, pour des raisons soit d’usure du pouvoir ou de conflits armés ou d’autres raisons, n’ont connu que des transitions plus ou moins récentes, la volonté de bâtir des Etat démocratiques forts est réelle. Les populations en demandent. Cela dit, aucun apprenti dictateur ne sera plus toléré à la tête d’un pays.
Aucun Homme Fort ne pourra se permettre de modifier une Loi fondamentale pour se donner un bail illimité. Les populations ne l’acceptent plus. Le peuple burkinabé l’a démontré dans les rues en octobre 2014, le peuple gambien, lui, l’a prouvé dans les urnes en décembre 2016.
