Air Sénégal, la compagnie nationale du Sénégal a signé une commande ferme portant sur l’acquisition de deux A330neo, la nouvelle version remotorisée du gros porteur best-seller A330. Cette commande fait suite au protocole d’accord signé en novembre dernier lors du Dubai Air show.
Cet accord a été signé à Dakar par Philippe Bohn, CEO Air Sénégal et Fouad Attar, Directeur Avions Commerciaux Airbus Afrique et Moyen Orient en présence du Président de la République Française Emmanuel Macron en visite d’Etat au Sénégal et de Macky Sall, Président de la République du Sénégal.
«Ces A330neo contribueront à développer notre réseau moyen et long courrier. Il est important pour nous de débuter notre activité commerciale avec des modèles à la fois fiables et économiques, tout en offrant à nos passagers un confort inégalé. Cette commande témoigne de notre ambition pour cette nouvelle compagnie» a déclaré Philippe Bohn, CEO Air Sénégal.
«Nous sommes heureux de compter Air Sénégal parmi nos nouveaux clients. Ces A330neo permettront à Air Sénégal de bénéficier de coûts d’exploitation imbattables et d’offrir à ses passagers un niveau de confort et une expérience exceptionnelle à bord sur ce segment de marché», a pour sa part souligné Fouad Attar, Directeur Avions Commerciaux Airbus Afrique et Moyen Orient.
