Le chef d’état-major général des Forces armées (CEMGA) sénégalaises, le général de corps d’armée Cheikh Guèye, a annoncé jeudi à Ziguinchor, l’implication de l’armée bissau-guinéenne dans la traque des auteurs du massacre de Boffa (Ziguinchor), qui a fait 14 morts et 7 blessés.
La participation des militaires bissau-guinéens entre dans le cadre de l’Accord de coopération permanente noué avec ce pays voisin, a dit le CEMGA lors d’une rencontre avec les journalistes au cours de laquelle il a fait le point sur les opérations engagées par l’armée sénégalaise pour trouver les auteurs de la tuerie de Boffa.
« Tous les moyens sont en train d’être mis en œuvre pour trouver les auteurs de ce crime lâche et odieux », a souligné le général Cheikh Guèye, sans entrer dans les détails de l’enquête en cours.
« Ceux qui ont fait cet acte sont des criminels qui ont tué avec le plaisir de tuer », a indiqué le CEMGA, avant de confirmer que le bilan de ce massacre porte à 14 mors, avec la découverte du corps d’un individu porté disparu depuis samedi, jour des faits.
Le corps de Daouda Manga, dont la disparition avait été signalée par sa famille, a été retrouvé par l’armée dans un état de décomposition très avancée, dans la forêt de Boffa.
Le CEMGA a assisté à son inhumation à Toubacouta, le village où il vivait avec sa famille.
Les victimes – 14 morts et 7 blessés – avaient été interceptées par plusieurs hommes armés, dans la forêt classée de Bayotte. Ils avaient été forcées à se coucher par terre avant d’être froidement fusillés.
