Accusé de trafic de drogue, le policier Ibrahima Dieng a finalement été acquitté par la Chambre criminelle de Dakar.
M. Dieng, ancien officier de l’Office centrale pour la répression du trafic illicite des stupéfiants (Ocrtis) a été mis en cause dans une affaire de trafic de chanvre indien et arrêté le 20 avril 2014 par la Section de recherche de la gendarmerie.
M. Dieng et ses coaccusés Awa Thiam, la mère de cette dernière, entre autres retrouvent enfin la liberté, près de 4 ans après leur arrestation car le juge a pris les contre-pieds du procureur qui avait requis 12 ans de prison ferme.
