L’émission Sport Reporter de Canal+ propose ce dimanche, à 18h30, un reportage sur le football sénégalais.
Pour l’occasion, Habib Beye a quitté le plateau du Canal Football Club et la position commentateur, pour partir à la rencontre d’un football qu’il connaît bien. Ancien international, il avait notamment participé au joli parcours des Lions de la Teranga lors du Mondial 2002.
Dans le reportage, le consultant et le réalisateur Marc Sauvourel partent à la rencontre de quatre clubs de Ligue 1 sénégalaise. Deux d’entre eux ont noué un partenariat avec des clubs français : Génération Foot avec le FC Metz et Dakar Sacré Coeur avec l’Olympique Lyonnais.
Dans cet extrait, Habib Beye rencontre l’entraîneur de l’équipe première de Dakar Sacré Coeur, Bruno Rohart, un Français évoquant la nécessité de s’appuyer sur le savoir-faire européen pour aider le football sénégalais à grandir, notamment sur le plan de la formation. Avec Matthieu Chupin, le président délégué du club, il revient également sur le rôle de l’Olympique Lyonnais, club partenaire, dans le développement du DSC.
