L’affaire de vol de conteneurs au port autonome de Dakar est loin de connaître son épilogue. En effet, le maître des poursuites a requis, hier, 10 ans de travaux forcés contre les accusés traduits à la barre de la chambre criminelle par la société Getma. Ils sont poursuivis pour vol en réunion avec usage de véhicule et recel. Délibéré le 6 février prochain.
20 ans de travaux forcés, c’est la peine qu’encourent les accusés Aliou Condé, technicien, El Abibou Diop, technicien, Fallou Thiam, marchand, Samba Niane, transitaire, Mor et Abdou Mouhamed Ndao. Ces derniers ont comparu, hier, à la barre de la chambre criminelle de Dakar pour vol en réunion avec usage de véhicule et recel. S’agissant des faits, depuis un certain temps, les vols de conteneurs frigorifiques sont récurrents pour les sociétés de manutention qui officient dans le port autonome de Dakar. En effet, au courant de l’année 2012, la société de manutention Getma a perdu 14 conteneurs dont une dizaine a été retrouvée suite à des investigations menées et une partie des malfaiteurs a été déférée au parquet. Malgré les dispositions prises par ladite société pour éradiquer cette pratique, ce phénomène continue à prospérer. Et le modus operandi de ces malfaiteurs consistait d’abord à repérer les conteneurs frigorifiques livrés chez certains clients après dépotage de la marchandise, utiliser des véhicules tracteurs différents de la société de consignation dudit conteneur pour ne pas se faire localiser par le système de géo localisation, et remorquer nuitamment ces conteneurs vers une direction inconnue. Dans la nuit du 29 au 30 mai 2012, aux environs de 20 heures, la société Getma avait livré un conteneur frigorifique au client Mamadou Diallo à la rue Sandiniéry par le biais d’un de leurs chauffeurs nommé Souleymane Kandé. Ce dernier, au moment de livrer ce conteneur, a entendu le client dire qu’il allait dépoter la même nuit. Il a ainsi continué la livraison des autres conteneurs jusqu’aux environs de 2 heures du matin pour revenir sur les lieux afin de récupérer ledit conteneur.
