Le conseil municipal de Dakar s’est constitué en partie civile pour le procès de Khalifa Sall. Moussa Sow, leur mandataire explique pourquoi cette décision par le fait que c’est eux (les conseillers municipaux) qui votent le budget de délibération pour approuver le budget et les comptes administratifs. Ils sont donc les mieux placés pour prendre part à ce ce procès.
C’est dans cet même lancé qu’il explique qu’il y’a de cela un mois, ils ont délibérer pour faire savoir que c’est eux qui ont autorisé à Khalifa Sall le fonctionnement de la Caisse d’avance. Fatou Bintou Gassama, conseillère municipal, dit que se sont les Dakarois qui ont permis au Maire d’exercer ses droits et devoirs.
