Malika, la femme d’Assane Diouf, est à Dakar. Mais elle se sent torturée par les autorités pénitentiaires.
Elle est arrivée à Dakar le mardi 30 janvier 2018, en provenance des États-Unis, pour prendre part à une marche prévue pour le vendredi 2 février, pour la libération de son mari. Malheureusement pour elle, elle risque de reprendre l’avion du retour sans voir Assane Diouf, emprisonné depuis quelques semaines.
Selon L’As, le Doyen des juges a refusé de délivrer un permis de visite à Malika. La dame confie avoir sollicité l’intervention du bâtonnier de l’ordre des avocats, Me Mbaye Guèye. Lequel, «après avoir informé les principaux concernés (par la requête)», a demandé à l’épouse d’Assane Diouf de retourner voir le Doyen des juges. Mais rien n’y fit.
Selon le journal, le magistrat a d’abord demandé à Malika son certificat de mariage. Le document produit, il lui réclame ensuite l’extrait de naissance de l’enfant du couple. «Furieuse», selon L’As, la dame a demandé pourquoi on lui réclamait tous ces papiers. Réponse de son interlocuteur, selon le journal : «la décision vient de ses supérieurs».
