Gorgui Sy Dieng ne s’y trompe pas. L’objectif, rappelle le joueur de Minnesota, était de revenir avec la Coupe. Cela n’a pas pu se faire à cause des aléas et de la volonté divine.
«L’objectif n’était pas d’avoir une médaille de bronze, mais la Coupe. En compétition, il y a des aléas, parce que toutes les équipes sont venues pour gagner. Et là, je pense que c’est Dieu qui l’a voulu ainsi. Maintenant, on va se préparer pour les échéances futures. Parce qu’il y a des jeunes dans l’équipe. Contre le Nigeria, rien n’a manqué. Ce sont deux équipes très fortes», a dit Gorgui Sy Dieng.
Le Sénégal a décroché la médaille de bronze en battant le Maroc en match de classement.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
