Le communicateur traditionnel Khadim Samb et le Grand Serigne de Dakar, Abdoulaye Makhtar Diop, ont fait des révélations sur Serigne Abdoul Aziz Sy Al Amine, le khalife des Tidjanes décédé vendredi dernier. Celles-ci renseignent sur ses rapports avec les richesses matérielles et son engagement aux côtés des démunis.
Khadim Samb : « Un jour, je lui ai posé la question de savoir combien d’immeubles ou de maisons il avait à Dakar. Il m’a juré sur ce qu’il a de plus cher au monde, à savoir la tariqa Tidjane et la famille de Serigne Babacar Sy, qu’il n’a rien à Dakar. Pas un seul centimètre carré de terrain qui lui appartienne.»
Quant au Grand Serigne de Dakar, il a indiqué que Al Amine était très engagé aux côtés des démunis. Dépensant quotidiennement, révèle-t-il, environ 500 mille francs Cfa pour leur venir en aide. Makhtar Diop, souligne Les Échos, indique avoir eu l’information de la bouche du défunt porte-parole de la famille Sy et khalife de Maodo Malick Sy lui-même.
