Les caméras du journal l’As, consulté par Actunet, ont filmé plusieurs fois le ministre de l’Intérieur à bord d’un véhicule banalisé dans la circulation à Dakar. C’est ainsi qu’il est tombé sur un camion qui a bloqué la circulation au coeur de Dakar-Plateau. Le chauffeur à garer sur la route avant de disparaître.
le Ministre est descendu de son véhicule mais à sa grande surprise, il n’y avait personne à bord du camion. Il a ainsi appelé le Commissaire de Dakar afin que ce dernier envoi des éléments pour déplacer le camion. Les chauffeurs sont avertis, en pleine circulation, ils peuvent désormais tomber sur le premier policier du Sénégal.
