L’annulation des Rencontres humanistes et fraternelles d’Afrique et de Madagascar (Rehfram) à Dakar reste en travers de la gorge des francs-maçons. Le Grand Orient de France a signé un communiqué, repris par Libération, pour s’indigner des manœuvres des groupes extrémistes qui ont fait capoter la réunion. « Depuis 26 ans, le projet humaniste porté par la Franc-maçonnerie libérale adogmatique est au cœur des Rehfram. Projet humaniste qui a pour fondement l’avènement d’une société plus juste, plus éclairée, plus solidaire. Or, en ce mois de janvier 2018, des forces obscurantistes, dévoyant les principes mêmes qui sont au cœur de toute démarche spirituelle et prétendant parler au nom de la majorité du peuple sénégalais ont empêché la tenue à Dakar des Rehfram 2018 », souligne le Grand Orient de France. Qui « ne saurait accepter qu’une rencontre de femmes et d’hommes libres, ardents défenseurs des principes démocratiques du pays hôte, ne puisse se tenir, du fait des menaces proférées par des groupes extrémistes ».
L’ordre, qui regroupe les francs-maçons européens, a promis d’apporter son soutien à ses frères Africains et Malgaches. « Conscient de ses responsabilités et intransigeant dans l’affirmation de ces valeurs, tient à réaffirmer avec toute la force qui convient dans un tel moment où émerge de nouveau l’antimaçonnisme le plus violent et le plus haineux, son soutien plein à la Conférence des puissances maçonniques Africaines et Malgaches, organisatrice des Rehfram », déclare-t-il. Et de prévenir: « Nous ne céderons ni à l’intimidation, ni aux mensonges, ni aux menaces. Nous continuerons de porter, en Afrique, comme sur d’autres continents, le message d’une franc-maçonnerie de progrès, libérée des dogmes, d’une franc-maçonnerie émancipatrice permettant l’avènement d’une humanité meilleure et plus éclairée ».
Le Grand Orient de France promet de prendre « sans tarder, les initiatives qu’exige la gravité de la situation ».

For instance, major music stores like iTunes are not available in Asia and US TV networks which let viewers see programmes on their website don’t make such programmes available to viewers outside the US. This is even if people are willing to pay to download or see the content.. Isn’t an online store or channel where content is legitimately distributed globally possible?. If the government is responsible for restricting distribution, which government are we talking about? The government in the country where the content is produced or the government in the country where the content is to be imported to?.
