Les instigateurs du mouvement “Auchan Dégage” n’auront pas le soutien du ministre du Commerce . Alioune Sarr a fait clairement remarquer aux commerçants qui s’agitent pour le départ du géant français, que la satisfaction de leur revendication n’est pas envisageable. “Il n’y a aucune loi interdisant à Auchan d’exercer ses activités au Sénégal”, a-t-il dit ce mardi alors qu’il recevait les commerçants membres de l’Unacois.
Toutefois le ministre du Commerce, de l’Industrie et du Secteur informel promet le soutien de l’Etat au commerçants sénégalais, non sans dénoncer leur manque d’organisation.
Alioune Sarr a d’ailleurs annoncé prochainement la construction un décret portant sur l’autorisation préalable de toute ouverture d’un magasin qui dépasse 300 mètres carrés est en gestation. Cela permettra, selon lui de réconcilier les grandes surfaces d’avec les petits commerces.
