Le maire de la Médina n’a pas tari d’éloges à l’endroit du chef de l’État lors du Festival international soninké qui s’est tenu hier, mercredi 21 février, au stade Iba Mar Diop. Après l’avoir chaleureusement accueilli, Bamba Fall a remercié Macky Sall pour ses condoléances suite au décès de son oncle.
«Au nom de ma famille et en mon nom propre, nous vous disons merci», a déclaré l’édile médinois. Selon Le Soleil, Bamba Fall ne s’est pas arrêté en si bon chemin. Il a ajouté à l’attention du chef de l’État : «Vous êtes un Président généreux, un Président très proche de sa population.»
Ces éloges devraient conforter ceux qui le soupçonnent d’être près de rejoindre le camp présidentiel et semer le doute dans l’esprit de ceux qui pensent que l’un des plus proches lieutenants de Khalifa Sall ne franchira pas le pas.
A noter que Bamba Fall était assis au premier loge, fondu dans la délégation présidentielle.
