C’est à peine sorti de la maison de correction de Rebeuss que le maire de Médina, Bamba Fall, a lancé à ses adversaires politiques, leur annonçant de but en blanc, qu’il n’est point sorti «pour se prélasser, mais pour se battre pour que son camarade et ami Khalifa Sall soit libéré». Cette révélation, Bamba Fall l’a faite lors de son accueil organisé par ses militants, hier, au sein de sa mairie. Selon le maire de la commune de Médina, c’est avec un bonheur mélangé à de la mélancolie qu’il a été libéré «en laissant son camarade Khalifa Sall incarcéré» a-t-il dit. Remerciant les habitants de la commune, Bamba Fall a dit : «Aujourd’hui je suis très fier d’être médinois, de faire partie de cette commune qui m’a tellement soutenu», a t’il ajouté. Son avocat, maître El Hadji Diouf, a profité de cette tribune pour rappeler que «ceux qui ont conduit Bamba Fall en prison se sont leurrés dans un mensonge total». Limitant son discours pour un voyage imminent à Touba, le maire compte rencontrer la presse ultérieurement pour une confé- rence au sein de sa localité
