En démissionnant du parti de Pape Diop, Mr Thiam a écrit une lettre pour faire savoir à l’ancien maire de Dakar, Pape Diop que « c’est avec regret » qu’il l’informe de sa démission du Parti Bokk Gis Gis. » Je pense avoir donné le meilleur de moi-même durant ces cinq dernières années, pour porter les idéaux du parti. Mais lorsque le cœur n’y est plus, il faut avoir le courage de le dire et assumer ses responsabilités. Je n’ai plus la force, ni la foi nécessaires de poursuivre mon engagement politique au sein du parti », a fait savoir dimanche, Ibrahima Thiam à son mentor Pape Diop.

I want to pursue a major in creative writing, and eventually become a fiction writer, but my question is, besides teaching english (which I NEVER picture myself doing), what is there for someone with a creative writing degree to do before they have written any books.
