La Senelec informe, dans un communiqué, qu’aucune panne d’électricité n’est survenue sur son réseau, lors du match de football opposant le Sénégal à l’Afrique du Sud.
“Ce sont les responsables du Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor qui ont jugé plus sûr de faire fonctionner leur nouveau groupe électrogène acquis récemment. Malheureusement, le groupe du Stade n’a pas pu démarrer comme souhaité. Ce qui est à l’origine des désagréments notés à l’entame du match”, précise la Senelec.
Les services du Directeur Mouhamadou Makhtar Cissé ajoutent que la Senelec a finalement repris la situation en main en réalimentant le Stade sur son propre réseau électrique afin d’assurer la continuité du service grâce aux agents postés sur les lieux.
