Le célèbre transporteur Lobatt Fall es décédé ce vendredi. L’information a été donnée par la Zik Fm. L’ancien opérateur économique était âgé de 89 ans. Originaire de Thioubalel, village de l’arrondissement de Cas-Cas, dans le département de Podor, Lobatt Fall est l’un des plus anciens transporteurs de la gare routière dite «Pompiers».
Issu d’une famille de pêcheurs haal pulaar, il reste fidèle à ses racines et croyances.
Tout jeune, le natif de Thioubalel faisait du petit commerce avec le soutien de ses deux grands frères qui détenaient de grandes boutiques au Fouta et en Mauritanie.
