Les armées sénégalaises vont déployer de lundi à jeudi prochains “d’importants moyens humains et matériels” pour assister les pèlerins durant le 123ème Magal de Touba (centre), a annoncé la Direction de l’information et des relations publiques des armées (DIRPA).
La communauté mouride va célébrer mercredi le Magal, un événement qui commémore l’exil au Gabon de Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba (1853-1927).
Un hélicoptère médicalisé sera mis à la disposition de l’hôpital Mathlaboul-Fawzaïni de Touba, pour assurer éventuellement des “interventions rapides”, selon un communiqué de la DIRPA.
Un hôpital militaire de campagne et une unité mobile de boulangerie de campagne seront également déployés dans la ville qui va accueillir des milliers de pèlerins la semaine prochaine.
L’unité de boulangerie sera installée en face de la principale mosquée de Touba.
L’hôpital militaire de campagne va s’appuyer sur trois “postes avancés” répartis entre la résidence Khadimoul-Rassoul, la résidence des hôtes de Darou Miname et la résidence Mourtala-Mbacké, à Touba, selon le communiqué.
“Des consultations en médicine générale, en rhumatologie, en chirurgie dentaire et en gastro-entérologie seront gracieusement offertes aux pèlerins, de même que des hospitalisations de courte durée. Le dispositif sera complété par un appui en spécialistes, à l’hôpital Mathlaboul-Fawzaïni”, promet la DIRPA.
