Mauvaise nouvelle pour la Sénégalaise Fatma Samoura. La secrétaire générale de la FIFA est sous le coup d’une plainte après avoir été dénoncée au comité d’éthique de la FIFA. Selon le site Star africa visité par Dakar7, elle aurait une relation familiale avec El Hadji Diouf qui est ambassadeur du Maroc pour l’organisation de la coupe du monde 2026.
Que s’est-il passé? Elle est accusée d’infractions présumées au code éthique relatif au “devoir de divulgation, coopération et déclaration” et “conflits d’intérêts”. La secrétaire générale de la FIFA est accusée d’avoir des liens familiaux avec l’ex international sénégalais, El Hadji Diouf travaille dans un rôle d’ambassadeur pour la candidature du Maroc pour l’organisation de la coupe du 2026.

Selon BBC, les revendications proviennent d’allégations relatives à la candidature marocaine. Cependant, la femme la plus puissante du sport mondial et dont le nom complet est Fatma Diouf Samoura, relative « j’étais pleinement consciente de cette plainte à venir. J’ai une bonne idée de qui transmet ce message », a déclaré la Sénégalaise à une source de BBC.
Elle assure ne pas être ébranlée par cette plainte et joue même la carte de l’humour. « Tout le pays du Sénégal se moquera de l’éthique de la Fifà Parce que tout le monde dans mon pays connaît l’origine d’El Hadji Diouf. », dit-elle.
