Invité à réagir sur le nouveau gouvernement après les élections législatives, Mamadou Diop Decroix a indiqué qu’il ne pense pas grand chose car « celui qui est élu nomme ses hommes ». « Le problème n’est pas de changer les hommes, ce sont les institutions », a-t-il fait savoir dans des propos relayés par « Le Soleil ».
Sur le changement de patron au ministère de l’Intérieur, Diop Decroix pense que « c’est trop tard et trop peu car Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo ne devrait pas organiser les élections et que ce n’est pas une question d’homme mais d’Institution et de politique ».
Dans ce sens, le député déclare que: « nous continuerons à demander une structure indépendante pour l’organisation des élections et nous exigeons cela jusqu’à présent.
