Entre SMS et le président turc Erdogan, c’est la grande amitié, du moins pour le moment. La preuve, la Turquie a accepté de régulariser la situation administrative de 1444 Sénégalais vivant au pays de Recep Tayyib Erdogan.
Dans une note, rendue publique, hier, son Excellence Moustapha Mbacké, Ambassadeur de Sunugaal à Ankara, a informé qu’il a été reçu, le jeudi 26 octobre 2017 par Son Excellence Monsieur Suleymane Soylu, ministre de l’Intérieur de la Turquie. Les entretiens ont permis de «magnifier l’excellence et l’exemplarité des relations bilatérales qui se sont traduites par des avancées concrètes». Comme cela a été mis en exergue lors de la 4e Session de la Commission mixte entre Sunugaal et la Turquie, tenue à Ndakaaru, les 5 et 6 septembre 2017.
La note précise que c’est dans ce cadre que Suleymane Soylu a bien voulu accéder à la requête de SMS concernant la régularisation de la situation administrative de 1444 Sénégalais qui vivent en Turquie. «A ce propos, le ministre Soylu a bien voulu indiquer que les intéressés pourront s’enregistrer sur la plateforme électronique (e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr) des services de l’émigration de la Turquie en vue d’obtenir leur carte de séjour», annonce le communiqué.
Cette décision, «d’une haute portée symbolique», souligne le document, «vient encore illustrer, si besoin en était, les liens fraternels et l’estime réciproque qui existent entre les deux chefs d’Etat, Son Excellence Monsieur Recep Tayyib Erdogan et Son Excellence Monsieur (SMS)».
