Le sieur Modou Seck a été attrait hier devant la barre du Tribunal des flagrants délits de Dakar. Le prévenu qui a grugé l’épouse d’un détenu, se faisait passer pour l’ami du procureur de la République. Dans la foulée, il avait même fait croire à sa victime et ce, pour bien la ferrer, qu’il avait l’habitude de prendre le thé avec le maître des poursuites.
La bonne dame a crû sans arrière pensée aux balivernes du mythomane. C’est sur ces entrefaites qu’elle a sollicité son aide afin que son mari qui avait été retenu dans les liens de la détention préventive puisse recouvrer la liberté. Modou Seck en a profité pour user de manoeuvres frauduleuses en réclamant la somme de 100.000 Cfa pour jouer les bons offices au niveau du parquet.
La pauvre dame qui ne voyait que la libération de son homme a accepté cette offre. C’est ainsi qu’elle a remis en guise d’acompte la moitié de la somme exigée. Pour rassurer “l’ami du procureur”, elle a pris l’engagement ferme de verser le restant, une fois son mari libre. Le marché a été ainsi conclu. Le jour du procès, la dame qui niche à Wakhinane, dans la banlieue dakaroise, s’est rendue dès les premières heures de la matinée, au Tribunal de grande instance de Dakar sis à Lat Dior. Elle était convaincu que ce jour-là, son mari allait tirer son épingle du jeu. Mais contre toute attente, le procès a été renvoyé.
Ayant flairé un mauvais coup, elle ne s’est pas fait prier pour formuler une plainte à l’encontre du nommé Modou Seck. Ce dernier a été convoqué à la police de Wakhinane pour tirer l’affaire au clair. N’ayant pas convaincu les enquêteurs lors de son audition sur procès-verbal, il a été déféré au parquet puis écroué. Ironie du sort, il a rejoint sans coup férir, à Rebeuss, le mari de sa victime.
Jugé hier, il a opté pour la dénégation systématique comme moyen de défense. Toutefois, il a reconnu avoir reçu gracieusement des mains de la plaignante qui s’est constituée partie civile dans cette affaire, la somme de 50.000 Fcfa.
Les faits étant constants, son “ami” le procureur l’a bien sermonné avant de requérir à son encontre une peine d’emprisonnement de deux ans dont un an ferme. La défense a plaidé une application bienveillante de la loi.
Le Tribunal après en avoir délibéré conformément à la loi, a suivi le procureur dans son réquisitoire en condamnant son “ami” à deux ans de prison dont un ferme.
