Sur le motif de leur démission, le document renseigne que les deux intéressés comptent lancer leur propre produit : “Mm. Kane et Diop ont informé M. Ndour, lors d’une rencontre, de leur décision de démissionner du Groupe Futurs Médias pour lancer un nouveau projet médiatique. Ils tiennent à rendre un vibrant hommage et à adresser leurs vifs remerciements au Président Youssou Ndour pour sa vision, les valeurs partagées et sa grande ambition pour le groupe, devenu en 15 ans d’existence, un leader incontestable dans l’espace médiatique sénégalais et dans la sous-région.”
De son côté, l’artiste chanteur s’est félicité de la collaboration et des performances des démissionnaires qui ont permis à son groupe d’atteindre des résultats hautement appréciables. “Conformément à sa vision, il a formulé à leur endroit des prières de succès dans leur nouveau projet”, lit-on dans le communiqué.
