La masse salariale de la fonction publique du Sénégal a enregistré une progression de 4% au terme du mois d’août 2017 par rapport à la même période de l’année 2016, a appris mardi APA auprès du ministère de l’Economie, des Finances et du Plan.
Cette masse salariale s’est établie à 48,299 milliards FCFA contre 46,450 milliards FCFA en août 2016, soit une augmentation de 1,849 milliard FCFA en valeur absolue (1 FCFA équivaut à 0,0016 dollar).
Toutefois, en variation mensuelle, la masse salariale a connu un repli de 2,9%, passant de 49,749 milliards FCFA en juillet 2017 à 48,299 milliards FCFA un mois plus tard.
Quant aux effectifs de la fonction publique, ils s’établissent à 125.499 agents contre 115.734 agents en août 2016, soit une progression de 8,4% en variation annuelle. En glissement mensuel, la progression se situe à seulement 0,2%, les effectifs passant de 123.303 agents en juillet 2017 à 125.499 agents en août 2017.
