La question de l’indépendance de la justice reste toujours une question qui préoccupe les citoyens sénégalais et à plus d’un titre les autorités judiciaires.
C’est ainsi que cette question a fait l’objet d’un colloque de deux jours dans la capitale sénégalaise. Cette rencontre qui réunit la famille judiciaire constitue une tribune de réflexion sur les difficultés qui gangrènent la justice.
Le ministre de la justice venu présider cette rencontre, constate que même si les problèmes existent, des efforts importants ont été faits pour assurer une indépendance de la justice. « Nous reconnaissons les problèmes et nous assurons à ce qu’il ait une bonne gestion de carrière des professionnels dans le respect et l’égalité des chances » a-t-il martelé.
A la question de l’indépendance de la justice, Ismaila Major Fall estime que c’est une œuvre à améliorer et que les citoyens peuvent nourrir d’un sentiment de confiance à l’endroit des juges. « Il s’agit d’une d’œuvre à consolider. Il y a une indépendance qui restera toujours du sort de l’avocat » a-t-il confié à la presse, « il faut une observation scrupuleuse de l’éthique et de la déontologie du juge».
Pour le renforcement de la famille judiciaire, le ministre de la justice annonce le recrutement pour chaque année de 30 magistrats et 35 greffiers.
En plus de la construction d’une école d’avocats et celle de magistrats, autre que l’accompagnement des acteurs pour une bonne gestion de leurs carrières…
