A force d’être acculé, le Maire de Dakar a encore fait des révélations. Khalifa Sall estime qu’il est victime d’un complot politique concocté au plus haut sommet de l’État. Soumis au feu roulant du Tribunal, il a en outre mouillé la police comme faisant partie des bénéficiaires de la Caisse d’avance de la Mairie de Dakar.
Au 13ème jour de son procès, le député-maire de Dakar n’a pas été avare en parole. Khalifa Sall a encore déballé. A l’en croire, sa descente aux enfers a commencé en septembre 2012 quand il a décliné une offre politique au cours d’une audience à la présidence de la République. Il a refusé toutefois de préciser la nature de cette offre politique. “Les difficultés avec l’actuel pouvoir date de septembre 2012. Très en verve, Khalifa Ababacar Sall, a également déclaré que ses adversaires qui ont décidé de le briser, ne lâcheront pas prise. “Ceux qui sont en face, ne veulent pas qu’on fasse un bilan. Face au juge Malick Lamotte, il a donné quelques exemples qui prouvent qu’il est combattu sans merci par le pouvoir en place. “En 1996, la ville de Dakar a acheté les locaux de l’ancien cinéma El Mansour à 50 millions Cfa. Le site a été ensuite revendu à notre grande surprise à un privé au même prix. Contre toute attente, au moment où ce litige était pendant devant les juridictions, l’Agent judiciaire de l’État s’est constitué dans cette affaire, contre les intérêts de la ville de Dakar”, a-t-il expliqué. Khalifa Sall qui est sous mandat de dépôt depuis mars 2017, est accusé entre autres des faits de blanchiment de capitaux, d’association de malfaiteurs, de faux et usage de faux et de détournement de deniers publics portant sur la somme 1,830 million Cfa.
À la barre du Tribunal de grande instance de Dakar statuant en matière correctionnelle correctionnel, il a à nouveau récusé ces chefs de prévention. “Il ne peut pas y avoir de deal entre le Maire et certains de ses collaborateurs pour commettre des délits. Eux mêmes, ne l’accepteront pas”, a-t-il martelé. Pour étayer de sa bonne fois, il a rappelé que depuis 2009, date de sa première élection à la tête de la Mairie de Dakar, son patrimoine n’a pas augmenté de façon significatif.
“Entre 2009 et 2014, date de ma seconde déclaration de patrimoine, j’ai acquis que deux nouveaux terrains. L’un, je l’ai acheté et l’autre on me l’a offert”, a-t-il précisé. Bousculé de questions sur les bénéficiaires des espèces sonnantes et trébuchantes en provenance de la Caisse d’avance de la Mairie de Dakar, Khalifa Sall a longuement tergiversé avant de révéler ce qui suit: “les fonds politiques servaient aussi la police de Dakar”.
