Après le maire de Kaffrine , Abdoulaye Wilane, c’est autour de l’ancien maire socialiste de Pikine, Malick Konté de plaider la libération du maire de Dakar. Avec ces appels à la libération de Khalifa Sall émanant d’ex camarades du Ps qui ne l’ont pas suivi dans Taxawu Dakar, on peut dire que le maire de Dakar tourmente le parti socialiste qui risque avec ces prises de positions, de se scinder en pro et anti liberté de Khalifa. Emprisonné depuis le 7 mars dernier, le maire de Dakar est entré dans son septième mois de détention. Elu député du Sénégal, il est le premier représentant du peuple à jouir de son mandat en tant que détenu.
