A la barre, Mamoudou Ibra Kane, directeur général de Gfm et partie civile dans cette affaire, a manifesté sa stupéfaction : «J’ai été surpris et ébahi quand on m’a dit que c’était lui. Il a toujours été sérieux et en tant que responsable, on a eu confiance en lui. Mais, je ne peux pas dire s’il a commis les autres vols, vu que je n’ai pas la preuve.»
Identifié grâce à une vidéo surveillance installée à son insu, le prévenu a soutenu qu’il ignorait les raisons qui l’ont poussé à commettre le vol.
