L’entrée du Maroc dans la Communauté économique des états de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (Cedeao) a été différée. Le Sommet d’Abuja, qui s’est tenu ce samedi 16 décembre, a décidé de la mise en place d’un comité des chefs d’Etat qui va étudier les implications des éventuelles entrées, du Maroc, de la Mauritanie et de la Tunisie, qui souhaiteraient aussi intégrer la Communauté.
Selon des sources du journal Le Quotidien, le président Macky Sall a été l’un de ceux qui ont demandé que l’on laisse les techniciens faire leur travail et soumettre des conclusions qui leur permettraient de se prononcer sur la candidature de ces pays.
Pour certains, les pressions du Conseil national du patronat (Cnp) auprès du chef de l’Etat sénégalais en seraient pour quelque chose. Selon des prévisions, le Maroc devait entre dans la Cedeao dès ce 16 décembre.
