Les partisans du maire emprisonné, deux demi-douzaines environ scandaient le slogan : « trop c’est trop » pour réclamer la libération de Khalifa Sall.
En réponse au chef de l’État qui appelle au dialogue, les manifestants ont posé la libération du maire Sall comme préalable à leur participation à ce dialogue.
