Abordant l’organisation de la présidentielle de 2019, le Président Macky Sall a décerné un satisfecit à Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, tout en se réjouissant des conclusions des experts qui rassurent sur la fiabilité de notre dispositif électoral. Une posture qui fait fi de l’aveu de partialité du ministre de l’Intérieur qui dit être décidé à faire réélire son mentor en rééditant la débâcle des législatives.
Après avoir déclenché une vive polémique et prêté le flanc aux critiques objectives de l’opposition en annonçant qu’il ne compte ménager aucun effort en vue de faire réélire Macky Sall en 2019, le ministre de l’Intérieur peut dormir à tête reposée. Le président de la République, que des voix ont interpelé pour lui demander de démettre Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, ne semble avoir cure des récriminations à son encontre.
En ce sens qu’il lui a décerné hier, lors du Conseil des ministres, un satisfécit relatif à l’organisation du processus électoral. C’est du moins ce que nous apprend le communiqué du Conseil des ministres qui précise que le Président Sall, appréciant le rapport du Cadre de concertation sur le processus électoral a adressé ses félicitations au ministre de l’Intérieur et remercié toutes les parties prenantes à cette concertation, sans manquer de se féliciter de l’esprit de dialogue et d’ouverture qui y a prévalu.
«Le chef de l’État salue les conclusions des experts qui rassurent sur la fiabilité de notre dispositif électoral, confirmant ainsi la profonde maturité du modèle démocratique sénégalais. À cet effet, le président de la République indique que pour une prise en charge hardie des conclusions dudit rapport, les dispositions juridiques appropriées seront soumises très prochainement à l’examen du Conseil des ministres et à l’Assemblée nationale», ajoute la même source
