En déplacement dans la ville sainte, pour apporter son adiya à l’occasion du Magal de Touba prévu le 08 novembre prochain, Macky Sall a déclaré que ses réalisations dans la Cité religieuse sont désintéressées.
“J’ai fait beaucoup de réalisations à Touba, à l’image de l’Autoroute Ila Touba, et j’en ferai, encore. Tout ce que je fais, c’est à cause de Serigne Touba. J’ai énormément d’ambitions pour Touba. Des réalisations, j’en ai faites à Touba et j’en ferai encore. C’est à cause de Serigne Touba”, a recadré le Chef de l’Etat.
Revenant sur le mobile de son déplacement dans la Cité religieuse, Macky Sall explique : «Dans le cadre du grand Magal de Touba, je viens féliciter le Khalife général des Mourides, au nom de tous les Sénégalais. L’évènement revêt un cachet exceptionnel».
Le Président de la République, qui a passé la nuit de jeudi à vendredi à Touba, devra procéder, à une visite à la Clinique multidimensionnelle de Darou Minam, avant d’aller assister à une exposition sur l’œuvre de Serigne Touba. Quelques heures plus tard, Macky Sall devrait prendre part à la prière de 14 heures du vendredi, à la Grande Mosquée de Touba.
