La journaliste, Maïmouna Ndour Faye avait confiance en son information, qui en a profité pour percevoir indûment l’argent de la monétisation des vidéo du site Az Actu. Ledit informaticien a créé et entretenu le site internet de la journaliste. Et il n’a pas hésité à dérober l’argent généré par les vidéos mis en ligne.
Le préjudice est estimé à 9 millions Fcfa par la plaignante, qui a déposé une plainte à la Brigade spéciale de cybercriminalité. L’informaticien est accusé d’avoir paramètre le compte Youtube du site Az Actu en son nom, de sorte à recevoir les paiements envoyés via Wester Union. Le deal a été découvert par un journaliste et webmaster du site.
L’accusé a nié les faits. Il soutient avoir mis le compte Youtube en son nom après le départ de l’ancien webmaster, avec l’accord de Maïmouna Ndour Faye. Mais en poussant plus loin les investigations, les limiers ont eu la confirmation que l’accusé est le seul a avoir encaissé les sommes d’argent envoyées par Youtube.
Déféré devant le Procureur, l’informaticien va comparaitre pour abus de confiance.
