Invité à l’émission « Diiné ak Diamono» sur Walf Tv, Mamadou Goumbala a annoncé avoir démissionné du Grand Parti de Malick Gackou. Il indique avoir pris cette décision au lendemain des élections législatives sans entrer dans les détails des raisons.
Mais il ne l’a pas fait pour croiser les bras. Il a expliqué avoir mis en place un mouvement citoyen dont le combat est la reddition des comptes. « Je veux que les Sénégalais sachent où va leur argent. Je veux remettre les choses à l’endroit », a-t-il déclaré.
Du point de vue politique, Mamadou Goumbala n’écarte pas de se présenter à la prochaine présidentielle. «Si Macky est président, je peux être surprésident », a-t-il clamé.
