Conseiller technique au ministère de l’urbanisme et du cadre de vie, Mamadou Ifra Niang qui est également conseiller départemental à Kanel est d’avis que a réélection du Président Macky Sall dépend de son bilan qu’il juge positif en plusieurs domaines.
Mamadou Ifra Niang estime que la réélection ou non du Président de la République, Macky Sall dépend de son bilan en 2019. Pour le conseiller technique du ministre, Diène Farba Sarr qui apprécie la vision du Président Sall en fonction du référentiel de la politique économique et sociale de son gouvernement sur le moyen et le long terme, « le Sénégal est sur un bon modèle de développement pour accélérer sa marche vers l’émergence ». En citant le Plan Sénégal Émergent (PSE), Mamadou Ifra Niang pense que « ce Plan qui est la suite logique du Documents de Stratégie de Réduction de la Pauvreté (DSRP) et de la Stratégie Nationale de Développement Economique et Social pour la période 2013-2017 (SNDES), est un excellent cadre d’application des interventions de l’Etat pour un Sénégal l’émergent à l’horizon 2035 ». Pour le conseiller du ministre Sarr, « s’il reste encore à faire pour le PSE, ce plan est comptables de multiples réalisations dans les secteurs des infrastructures agriciles et hydraulique ainsi que le développement des collectivités territoriales ». En appelant à la consolidation des acquis en matière de gouvernance démocratique et de recentrage des priorités, Mamadou Ifra Niang se dit convaincu que « le bilan de Macky Sall est positif et va contribuer à sa réélection en 2019 ». Entre autres réalisations à l’actif du successeur de Me Abdoulaye Wade à la présidence de la République, Mr Niang évoque les activités du Programme d’urgence de développement communautaire (PUDC) pour soutenir qu’elles ont permis aux populations rurales d’accéder aux services sociaux de base. Comme réalisations concrète de ce Programme, Mamadou Ifra Niang cite le volet hydraulique avec la construction de 251 forages dont 70 à réhabiliter à l’intérieur du pays.
Le conseiller technique au ministère de l’urbanisme vante aussi les mérites du Programme d’urgence pour la modernisation des axes et territoires frontaliers, la couverture maladie universelle, l’électrification rurale, les bourses familiales pour fournir des indications de réussite de la politique de Macky et lui donner carte blanche à la prochaine présidentielle. En se revêtant de sa casquette de conseiller départemental de Kanel, Mamadou Ifra renseigne que dans cette localité du nord du pays, le conseil dont il est membre fait bénéficier à tous les élèves du départemental de ce couverture maladie. Entre autres motif d’actions, Mr Niang présente le village d’Ordondé avec ses 120 hectares de riz comme une référence en matière d’autosuffisance alimentaire.
