Ousmane Sonko a révélé le contenu de sa rencontre avec Abdoulaye Wade, il y a une quinzaine de jours. C’était ce dimanche lors d’une réunion avec les militants de Pastef de Guédiawaye.
Sonko a confié que Wade lui «a donné beaucoup de conseils». Et l’un des principaux, c’est qu’un homme politique doit être riche.
«Vous avez un bon profil, un bon discours, mais si vous n’avez pas d’argent, non pas pour acheter des consciences, mais pour faire une bonne tournée nationale dans le pays, ça ne va pas aller», aurait suggéré Wade à son hôte.
Sonko affirme que l’ancien chef de l’État a longtemps souhaité le rencontrer. «À plusieurs reprises, dit-il, il avait eu le souhait de me rencontrer à Paris, à Dakar, mais cela ne s’est pas concrétiser. J’ai beaucoup apprécié cette rencontre, parce que c’était une discussion ouverte.»
