Les éléments du commissariat central de Thiès ont réussi à mettre la main sur les membres d’un réseau de trafiquants de faux billets. Les deux faussaires en possession de petites coupures de faux billets ont été interpellés samedi dernier, puis déférés, renseigne ‘’En Quête’’.
C’est à la hauteur de la gare routière de Thiès que les nommés A.T Thièssois d’origine et A.N Dakarois âgé d’environ de 30 ans, ont été arrêtés vers les coups de 3 heures du matin. Selon notre source, les deux faussaires ont été déférés au parquet avant-hier, puis placés sous mandat de dépôt. Les deux individus ont été admis à la maison d’arrêt et de correction de Thiès. Ils détenaient la somme de 150 000 Fcfa en faux billets de 2 000 et 1 000 FCfa.
Dans cette affaire, le jeune Dakarois est l’acteur principal. Car c’est lui qui livrait la commande de faux billets au Thièssois qui, très souvent, l’attendait à la gare routière de la cité du Rail. Dans la foulée, de ces arrestations, les enquêteurs ont cherché à savoir où se déroulent les opérations de fabrication de faux billets. Ainsi, les éléments du commissaire Tendeng, nouvellement affecté à Thiès, ont très vite ouvert une enquête. Intimidé, le jeune faussaire A.T a coopéré et conduit les agents du commissariat central de Thiès à son domicile, sis à Dakar.
Sur place, les policiers y ont trouvé deux machines de confection de faux billets, une imprimante et de l’encre. Ces faux billets, renseigne notre interlocuteur, ont été utilisés dans un kiosque de parifoot. A partir de là, les hommes du commissaire ont mené l’enquête et arrêté les deux faussaires.
