Le positionnement de la marque Tecno Mobile sur le marché du mobile au Senegal se justifie par une approche stratégique visant à fournir des téléphones à toutes les couches sociales.
La marque a déployé cette stratégie avec l’arrivée des téléphones doubles SIM (2 puces) et l’a accentuée avec la montée en puissance des smartphones, très bien accueillis par les consommateurs senegalais. Cette percée a fait de Tecno Mobile le premier fournisseur, depuis le début de l’année 2017, de téléphone double SIM en Afrique avec un volume de ventes total estimé à plus 120 millions d’unités en Afrique.
L’Afrique, après l’Asie, représente le deuxième plus grand marché mondial.
Tecno Mobile, qui a contribué à l’essor du mobile sur le continent compte bien accroître davantage ses parts de marché en offrant des smartphones et tablettes répondant aux besoins des utilisateurs locaux.
Les gammes telles que Phantom, Camon, Base, Spark, montrent bien la volonté de la marque de maintenir sa position de leader.
