Le Front anti Franc CFA a tenu un rassemblement, samedi 16 septembre à la Place de l’Obélisque à Dakar. Plusieurs centaines de personnes s’étaient réunies pour dénoncer le franc CFA, symbole du colonialisme.
Pour l’activiste Thiaat, membre du mouvement Y’en a marre, il faut intensifier la résistance contre le Franc CFA et tous les symboles de la présence française. C’est pourquoi, il lance un appel au boycott des produits français. “Que les Sénégalais achètent sénégalais”, a-t-il lancé.
«Nous ne sommes plus dans une logique de dénonciation, nous devons poser des actes, parce que les gens que nous avons en face ne nous respecte pas. C’est pourquoi je lance un appel à vous, ici présents, de dire à vos proches, à vos amis, de boycotter tous les produits de toutes les multinationales françaises présentes au Sénégal. Il faut leur dire de ne plus acheter le carburant chez Shell, Elf ou Total. Il faut leur dire de ne plus acheter dans les magasins Auchan, Leader Price ou Citydia. Il faut les inciter à acheter chez les Sénégalais. Laissons-leur leurs produits», a exhorté Thiaat.
