Pr Serigne Khadimou Rassoul Thiam, ingénieur statisticien, est l’auteur de l’ouvrage qui dément le rapport de la Fmi disant que « le Sénégal est le 25ème pays le plus pauvre du monde, derrière la Gambie ». Dans cet entretien qu’il a accordé au site d’information indépendant Senflash.com, il est revenu sur la pertinence de son ouvrage.
Au plan politique, président de l’Alliance pour une République émergente et citoyenne, Pr Serigne Khadimou Rassoul Thiam a argué que « le Sénégalais lambda ne va plus croire aux politiciens ». Et d’ajouter, après analyse, que « nous sommes infestés de politiciens ».
Quant à notre système éducation, Thiam a opté pour « une refondation, une rénovation des structures d’enseignement du Sénégal ». Cela en instaurant un enseignement basé sur les humanités sénégalaises. Allant plus loin dans ses développements, il explique la solutions qu’il a trouvé contre « nos années blanches ». Entretien…
