L’Asred a fait savoir dans son texte que «la recrudescence des morts dans les prisons sénégalaises est due en grande partie aux mauvaises conditions de détentions». Pour pallier à ces maux, l’Asred lance un appel aux députés de la XIIIe législature à «voter cette loi tant attendue qui permettra enfin aux magistrats d’élire par vote le procureur de la République»
