«Au moment où les libéraux parlent de recomposition de la grande famille libérale, le clan d’Ousmane Tanor Dieng opte lui pour la division. S’ils étaient responsables, ils allaient essayer de regrouper toute la famille socialiste autour d’un même idéal», a regretté Mamadou Diouf.
Toutefois, il a tenu à avertir : «Nous ne comptons pas nous laisser faire. Nous allons mener un combat en interne. Quitte à entretenir deux structures parallèles, deux comités centraux, deux bureaux politiques. Cette fois-ci, ils n’en sortiront pas aussi facilement».
