L’association Neegu Salum sous la direction du Bour Salum, Guédel MBODJ, annonce la tenue des festivités du Gamou de Kahone qui auront lieu le 02 et 03 Mars 2018 à Kahone. A l’occasion, un symposium sera organisé avec la participation d’imminentes personnalités universitaires et de communicateurs traditionnels, sur le thème : Histoire du Saloum.
Cet événement culturel verra la participation de toutes les Provinces du Saloum, du Sine, celles du Baol, du Djoloff, du Cayor, du Walo, de Boundou et de Ossouye. Elles prendront part activement aux différents activités avec des expositions de leurs potentialités agricoles, artisanales, touristiques et culturelles.
Au-delà de l’aspect culturel et économique, l’évènement veut être le creuset où se retrouveront tous les Saloum-Saloum pour retisser les solidarités internes qui existaient du temps de l’ancien royaume.
