La répression policière de la manifestation de l’opposition, hier mardi, a été condamnée énergiquement par Me Abdoulaye Tine, candidat déclaré à la prochaine élection présidentielle du 24 février 2019.
De l’avis du président du parti Usl (Union Socialiste Libérale), la liberté de manifester est un droit constitutionnel qui ne saurait être restreint par un simple arrêté ministériel”. Par ailleurs Me Tine a invité les tenants de l’actuel régime à poser des actes allant dans le sens de conforter la stabilité du pays.
“Le régime doit se ressaisir en laissant le jeu normal des libertés s’exercer, ce qui contribuera à apaiser le climat politique et social dans notre pays. Comme disait Montesquieu ” Chaque régime politique a ses vertus spécifiques, les vertus de la démocratie, c’est l’apaisement et la modération”, a-t-il soutenu.
