La chaîne de télévision japonaise NHK a mis la main à la poche pour interviewer Sadio Mané. Selon le quotidien sportif Stades, les envoyés spéciaux nippons à Vittel, camp de base des Lions en France, sur le chemin de la Coupe du monde, ont mis sur la table la coquette somme de 25 000 dollars (environ 15 millions de francs Cfa) pour 30 minutes d’entretien avec la star de l’équipe sénégalaise.
Le journal précise que l’accord a été trouvé entre les agents du joueur et la chaîne japonaise. «La Fédération a été impuissante face à cette situation et a laissé faire», regrette Stades. Qui signale que, pourtant, la consigne a été que la presse n’avait pas le droit d’accéder à la Tanière en dehors des conférences de presse organisées et encadrées.
Le quotidien sportif rapporte aussi que Canal+ a eu le droit d’«ériger ses quartiers samedi dans l’hôtel des Lions, au moment où les envoyés spéciaux sénégalais ont été (priés de vider les) lieux par le service de sécurité composé des éléments de la Bip».
Pour justifier ce deux poids deux mesures flagrant, le président de la Fédération sénégalaise de football (FSF), Augustin Senghor, a avancé que «l’accord avec Canal+ a été trouvé depuis longtemps».
