Il y avait foule à l’hôpital Principal hier à l’occasion de la levée du corps de la mère de l’ancien ministre d’Etat Samuel Ameth Sarr. La cérémonie a eu lieu en présence de nombreuses personnalités dont Me Oumar Youm, émissaire du Président Macky Sall. Le directeur de Cabinet du Président a témoigné longuement sur les relations entre Macky Sall et Samuel Sarr qui ont cheminé ensemble au Parti démocratique sénégalais (Pds). Accompagné de Bruno Diatta, Me Youm est revenu sur les relations amicales et fraternelles qui lient Macky Sall à Samuel Sarr avant de louer ses qualités, notamment l’ouverture d’esprit de Samuel Sarr. En témoigne, dit-il, le déplacement de la Première Dame, Marième Faye Sall juste à l’annonce du décès de la mère de l’ancien Dg de Senelec. Ses amis du Pds n’étaient pas en reste puisque l’ancien ministre Cheikh Tidiane Sy, était au centre de l’organisation de la cérémonie. Le coordonnateur du Pds Oumar Sarr, Cheikh Amar, la présidente du Conseil économique, social et environnemental (Cese) Aminata Tall, le député Abdou Mbow qui représentait l’Assemblée nationale, Farba Senghor, Pape Samba Mboup, Modibo Diop, Ameth Amar, Lamine Faye, Mamadou Lamine Massaly, Maodo Malick Mbaye, Mbaye Pekh étaient tous là pour témoigner leur amitié à Samuel Sarr. Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké, marabout de Samuel Ameth Sarr a dépêché une délégation dirigée par Serigne Saliou, fils de Abdou Lahad Mbacké (Baye Lahad). Tivaouane avait également envoyé une délégation. La dépouille sera acheminée en Gambie où l’inhumation est prévue pour mardi prochain. «L’As» présente ses sincères condoléances à l’ancien ministre d’Etat.
