La dame R. P était mariée à Mbour et mère de quatre enfants. Après son divorce, elle est revenue à Francounda, son village natal, situé dans la commune de Bambali, dans le département de Sédhiou.
Celle-ci portait une grossesse non désirée qu’elle cachait à ses parents et au voisinage. Mais quand la grossesse est arrivée à terme, la jeune femme s’est retirée dans l’arrière cour de la maison, où il y a un enclos, pour y accoucher.
Elle y laissa le bébé, né de sexe féminin et revint à la maison en se plaignant de maux de ventre.
L’enfant a été retrouvé par de jeunes bergers. Ils ont alerté la famille et les parents se rendirent très vite compte que R. P venait d’accoucher et voulait se débarrasser de son enfant.
Le bébé se porte bien. La maman, quant à elle, n’est pas encore arrêtée, car elle est en observation à l’hôpital de Sédhiou.
Selon les sources du journal Vox Populi, lu par Actunet.net, l’auteur de cette grossesse serait le fils d’un haut cadre de cette localité à la retraite.
Mais le présumé auteur a nié les faits, selon une source proche de l’enquête.
