L’Institution de coordination de l’assurance maladie obligatoire du Sénégal (Icamo) envisage, à travers un Plan de communication lancé vendredi à Dakar, instaurer une nouvelle ère dans la communication sur l’assurance maladie obligatoire pour une meilleure connaissance de la portée et des enjeux du système, a déclaré Cheikh Ousmane Diop, le président du conseil d’administration de cette structure.
“A travers cette stratégie de communication, l’Icamo compte instaurer une ère nouvelle dans les relations d’information et de communication entre les différents acteurs de l’Assurance maladie obligatoire pour une meilleure connaissance de la portée et des enjeux du systeme”, a notamment dit M. Diop à l’ouverture d’une rencontre de validation dudit plan.
Selon lui, pour bien mener son rôle, l’Icamo doit en tant que nouvelle institution, être connue du public et des différents acteurs de l’Assurance maladie obligatoire sur le plan de son organisation, de ses missions, de sa portée, de ses enjeux et défis pour une meilleure adhésion de ses membres.
“Ainsi, le plan de communication vise-t-il à faire la promotion de l’image et de la notoriété de l’Icamo auprès des Institutions de prevoyance maladie IPM, des entreprises et partenaires ; la participation des prestataires de soins à l’atteinte d’un meilleur équilibre financier ; l’adhésion des employeurs et travailleurs au système de l’Icamo…”, a expliqué Cheikh Ousmane Diop.
Le plan de communication s’adresse aux chefs d’entreprises, aux travailleurs, aux administrations d’Ipm, aux prestataires de soins et aux instances représentatives du personnel.
